Richard
Founder of Éducation Canine Mach
Animals have been an integral part of my life ever since I was a child.
I grew up in an environment where horses and dogs were a part of everyday life. From a very young age, I spent hours in the stables, in close contact with the animals, which allowed me to develop a natural understanding of their behavior and language.
My connection with dogs is deeply personal. I grew up with a dog named Black, who had a profound impact on my life and my view of the world. This relationship has taught me that a dog isn’t just a pet, but a true member of the family, capable of providing security, balance, and comfort.
This experience led me to reflect on animal welfare, human responsibility, and the importance of never abandoning a dog when faced with difficulties.
Years later, Mach’s arrival marked a turning point. His aggressive behavior toward other dogs made me confront the reality of behavioral disorders. Lacking the resources at the time, I undertook an in-depth effort on my own to understand, rebuild, and restore a healthy relationship.
This success led me to continue on this path with other dogs, and then to train under the guidance of recognized professionals. Today, I hold a Swiss federal certification that qualifies me to work with all types of dogs, from puppies to the most complex cases.
Through Éducation Canine Mach, my mission is clear: to help families and their dogs build a lasting, balanced, and harmonious relationship by combining respect, structure, and an understanding of canine behavior.
Christian
With a professional background in the technical field as an audio and video specialist, I have spent several years working in a demanding environment that requires rigor, precision, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Over time, a deep-seated need to return to the basics has become apparent. Having grown up around animals, especially horses and dogs, that connection has never faded—quite the opposite. It has grown stronger over the years until it became a given.
Working with dogs has helped me regain that balance. Being in daily contact with them, understanding their behavior, and establishing clear and consistent communication has gradually become a central part of my life.
This transition is not a coincidence, but a continuation. It stems from a sincere desire to reconnect with a more natural environment, in line with my values, and to dedicate my energy to animal welfare.
Today, at Éducation Canine Mach, I devote myself fully to each dog, approaching my work with professionalism, calm, and dedication. My goal is to provide them with a structured, safe environment tailored to their needs, in order to support their well-being and growth on a daily basis.
Our philosophy
At Éducation Canine Mach, we believe that a dog should not be viewed simply as a pet, but as a living being with natural needs, emotions, and instincts.
Our approach is inspired by animal behavior and the observation of living organisms.
We firmly believe that the human-dog relationship is based above all on trust, consistency, and responsibility. The role of humans is not to dominate, but to guide and protect.
In the modern world, it is up to us to provide dogs with a clear and safe environment that allows them to adapt to our society.
That is why we favor a balanced approach that combines structure, boundaries, and reinforcement of positive behaviors. Since every dog is unique, we tailor our methods to each dog’s temperament, background, and environment.
We also emphasize exercise, mental stimulation, and social interaction to help dogs become well-balanced, confident, and able to live peacefully in their daily lives.
We view dogs as full-fledged partners, endowed with remarkable abilities and great sensitivity.
Understanding them, respecting them, and valuing their natural qualities allows us to bring out the best in them and build a deep and lasting relationship.
